History soaked Doyle's cafe at very reasonable prices. After visiting the Sam Adams brewery there was a crazy guy shouting anyone wanting a ride to 'Doyles'? I thought why not, we got in the  'trolley' with music and flashing disco lights. The driver was hilarious,  recommending: 'Doyles' , he did recommend the very good Reuben sandwich, while dancing away in his driver's seat.

Doyle's offered free Sam Adams glasses for anyone who had a brewery stamp and to buy a pint of Sam Adams.

The trolley dropped us off at the metro after the meal.

One of my favourite days in Boston, the Brewery Tour, The Trolley and Doyle's !

Used to come here more regularly, back in the day. It has not changed, and that is a GOOD thing. The food is consistently tasty - nothing fancy, but well done. The fries are perfection - nice hearty steak fries, well cooked.

Good beers on tap and lots of local history. What more can you ask?

Great place! We took the party trolley after the Sam Adams tour and the bus driver was hilarious! He told us about the clam chowder and the lobster roll and both were just outstanding!! Service was great also. Don't forget to bring your tour ticket and order a beer, you get to take home a free Sam Adams glass. The whole day was just the highlight of my whole trip.

We stopped by Doyle's via the Trolley from Sam Adams to Doyle's driven by "The Guy from Doyle's" We took the second to last brewery tour at Sam Adams so we had time at Doyle's for a few beers and bite to eat. The food was pretty good. The atmosphere of Doyle's is that of a neighborhood bar. The staff was very friendly. You can see the rich history hanging on all the walls. And a must is the Drinking tour of Boston on the Trolley with "The Guy from Doyle's" ... what a fun time. It is a MUST!!

Hopped on the trolley after the Samuel Adams Brewery Tour! Got our Boston Lager & Bavarian pretzels! Historic bar! Loved the atmosphere. You gotta go to DOYLES!

And if you can, take the trolley ride on the freedom tour with Jay! BEST. TROLLEY. EVER. and he LOVES DOYLES!
