You can tell that the folks who work here take pride in the place, and deservedly so. The setting is Old World. The service is excellent. The food is wonderful. The wine list is solid. We were three and we tried three starters, three mains, and one dessert. Ahhhh, what foods these morsels be. You can't go wrong.

Made a reservation online at a last minute and we were not disappointed!

We ordered lamb, beef carpaccio, pork belly and mushroom pasta.

Every dish was superb. The restaurant was wonderful and we enjoyed our dinner very much.

We went to this restaurant a number of years ago and had a good experience, so we decided to go for a birthday dinner. The meal ruined our evening.
3 out of 4 of our meals were awful, the 4th was mediocre.
One person ordered the biztecca which came underdone, and was returned beyond edible. 2 of us ordered the pork, one dish was rare, the other one was so tough, we could not cut into with the steak knife provided.
The 4th dish, rabbit pasta, was bland and rather small.
Would we ever go back? Never. My son had to go down the street to get a sub AFTER DINNER, as he did not have enough to eat.
This clearly is a "has been" restaurant resting on its former reputation.

I chose this restaurant to experience a good Italian restaurant in the North End in Boston. The location is right near the Paul Revere house and I had seen it before and wanted to try it. I should have looked more carefully at the menu I guess. I thought it was a traditional pasta dish italian restaurant. There were only 2 pasta dishes on the menu that night. Almost every dish had pork which i am allergic too. The information says it has vegetarian options, but in fact there was only 1 vegetarian item on the menu the day we dined. If you are looking for Osso Buco it might be a good place. If you are vegetarian or just want a menu with a variety of pasta options this is not the place. Quite pricey as well.

Reservation for 5pm on a Saturday since we waited to long too get a later time. Worked out well as we were tired from museums and walking. The dining room was cozy and well appointed. Service was warm and attentive. The bread with pesto was delicious as was our starter of lamb gnocchi. I loved my entrée, the lobster pasta. It was rich and succulent. Husband equally enjoyed his steak. A nice Chianti complimented the meal. A wonderful anniversary treat.
