Perhaps the Sangria says it all. We have been going to this restaurant for almost 40 years and my wife always says that they have the best Sangria she has ever tasted. She has tried it in many restaurants including restaurants in Mexico and Spain, which we have visited several times, The food is wonderful. We love the chicken enchiladas and the shrimp dishes and I love their flan. Both of us always say that the dip for the chips is also, the best we have ever tasted On our most recent visit, last night, I tried the shrimp and fish ceviche which was fabulous.. The staff is always very professional and friendly. The decor makes you feel like you are in an upscale restaurant in Mexico or Spain. We like to try new restaurants in Boston but have always found ourselves returning to Casa Mexico.

We went there for an early dinner and it wasn't bad but it sure wasn't special. I chose a quesadilla which was fine but honestly the chips were better. Had to ask for the bill, ask for refills and the bill was wrong the first time and they weren't even busy.

Hi, Theresa, we are sorry that your visit to Casa Romero wasn't the most pleasant, but we will continue working with management and our staff, so things of that nature don't occur again.

Tried tbhus restaurant after reading reviews and was in walking distance to the Westin. Very happy with our meal. We were there early enough to have the early bird special which was enough food. Started with the guacamole. I'm allergic to raw onions so they made it special for me with just garlic. Absolutely delicious! My early bird dinner was a salad that was huge, enchiladas Verdes, and flan for dessert. Our waiter was attentative and welcoming. Would definitely go back when in Boston . My husband had the pulled pork, also very good. The chips and salsa excellent. 5 star food and dining experience!

The location of this restaurant is perfect - right off of Newbury street but tucked away from the noise and bustle. Service was fast, which was to be expected for a 5:15 reservation. Drinks were decent - nothing too special. The food was yummy - we had enchiladas verdes and cochinita pibil. The enchiladas were yummy though the rice was a bit bland. The cochinita was tender and spicy - a very large serving. Prices were decent. Overall we had a good meal and we will likely return.

This is a hidden spot in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood (literally off the alley). Delicious authentic style Mexican favorites like enchiladas verde, mole, and guacamole don't disappoint. Nice private dining area accommodates groups of about 15 and is a great location for a business or family gathering. The outdoor patio is a magical location on a summer night. Attentive service and reasonable prices.
