This is another gem in the Copley Sq area in addition to the beautiful Trinity Church and the wonderful Boston Public Library. The Old South Church is gorgeous both inside and outside. The building itself is a magnificent piece of architecture. I believe it was originally of Puritan origin and later became a Congregational Church (later merging into the United Church of Christ). They were very welcoming and should be proud of their building. They did not request any admission money unlike the Trinity Church which might be even more magnificent. We really enjoyed it so much that we went back for a second visit.
