We spent 3 nights, 4 days in Boston for our first wedding anniversary in June 2016. The hotel Commonwealth was a perfect base for our tourist adventures - including Fenway tour and Red Sox game, a day at Harvard, whale watching and generally exploring the city.
Each staff member was extraordinarily helpful and friendly, which was such a pleasant surprise.
The rooms are beautiful, modern, clean, comfortable, luxurious, and spacious. We had a corner room on the 3rd floor with a king bed. The room had automatic curtains, mini fridge, TV and telephone, even a tablet. The bathrooms were beautiful and clean, with bathtub and rainfall shower heads. One day the cleaning staff forgot to replace our bath towels, so we called the front desk, and they had the concierge deliver extras just to make our day.
The attached restaurant Eastern Standard was also a surprising treat. Delicious food and fun decor. Our waitress was also exceptionally sweet and helpful.More
