After a Red Sox game, you see that it is crowded and getting more so. Once seated, though, the crowd is gone. Do get a reservation!
The first thing you notice is that it is remarkably elegant. The decor, lighting, art. Really elegant.
OK, the food. Not fine dining, but just really well prepared food with attention to detain. Start with a few oysters from their remarkable selection. Hard to go wrong.
I like their set of appetizers -- have a crispy oyster slider to get the cooked version of oysters. Next, the smoked bluefish pate was nice. Followed up with some fried clams from Ipswich and the heirloom tomatoes. Great variety of dishes to share and a big main dish not required.
A fun night out.
