Saltie Girl was recommended by our hotel concierge. We went our third night in town, then our fourth and fifth. We had different small plates every night then the cold lobster roll to finish, we would love to bring some home to Philadelphia. Hannah was not only a great bartender, but hostess, server and we believe chef and bottle washer. Our first night was the 4th of July and she owned the place. Last night there we had Cristiano as our bartender, and he made us happy we went back. We would love to see them come to Philly.

The place was clean the service was excellent, prices were way to high. I saw this restaurant on the food channel, it looked really cool. The place was small, but the decor was nice. The waiters were pleasant. The big problem is they think it is a five star establishment. We went for lunch, we both ordered the lobster roll, and split one appetizer. I had and iced tea, she had 1 beer. The lobster rolls were good, but not worth 36 bucks each. For such a small amount of food, a lunch should not be 125.00.

We arrived early and had about a 20 minute wait. When we were first seated at the bar, the LOUD music was quite upsetting. It doesn't need to be at 11, along with the kitchen sounds and conversation...turn it down. So the prices are high, and really only one of the dishes we ordered brought the WOW factor. It was the fois gras. It was paired with some crazy sounding accompaniments, such as Nutella!!! With hazelnuts and dates, it all worked together somehow, and was delicious. $20.
We also had scallops and a crab roll, they were fine. Our least favorite part was when my husband ordered a whiskey and the bartender told him it would be priced between $14-20. He didn't really know. When the bill came, it was $24. Not right.

Because they don't take reservations, we gave our name and went to have a drink at a nearby bar. We got a call 45mins later and were very excited to try it out!
We had the mackerel in olive oil, the grilled octupus, the orange clam, the lobster roll and the salmon! Everything was so delicious but the octopus wasn't anything special, kinda boring actually compared to the rest! The cocktails were delicious and the staff was very friendly! I loved the decor ans how small and cozy the place is! Although it ended up being quite pricey (about 220$US for 2 ppl) it was really delicious and I would definitely recommend it to all my friends !!

We put in our names for a table. We were told it would be an hour and that they would text us when our table was ready. They never contracted us again. Was very disappointed.
