My wife and I stayed at Reynolds Mansion over Memorial Day weekend. We were welcomed warmly by Billy and Sandy. They did everything to make our stay exceptional. Our plans required us to get to town early, and they allowed us to check in a bit early so we didn't have to change plans. They had a cancellation and upgraded us to a bigger room at no cost. While totally unnecessary, I include it as an example of the kind of people they are. They truly embody southern hospitality. The grounds and the house are gorgeous. If you love antebellum architecture and great stories about a rich family history, this is the place for you. Billy's passion for preserving the legacy of the Reynolds family and the beauty of the home are evident at every moment.
And breakfast...you won't leave hungry! Great food and great conversation were an excellent way to start our day. We could not have been happier with our stay. Thank you and we hope to stay there again when we come back to Asheville!More
