Stayed in the Stable and it was wonderful. Private entrance, large area to enjoy. Really enjoyed and hope to go back there again in the future. The two breakfasts we enjoy were just perfect and we so enjoyed dining on the porch. The weather was perfect.

Room tip: If you have mobility issues, be sure to let the staff know.

We revisited Cedar Crest at the end of August, since our first experience there was beyond perfect. This visit was "twice as nice." The rooms are beautiful, the property is extremely well kept and the morning breakfast wakes up the senses and brings a smile to the face. In one direction, Cedar Crest is a short drive to the Biltmore Village, the Estates and Hi-Wire Brew Pub. In the opposite direction, a vibrant downtown with shops, restaurants and pubs. Cedar Crest was our comfort spot while branching out to all that Asheville has to offer. Just an incredible place.

Room tip: Their website is extremely accurate in describing the type of room that is available.

The Cedar Crest Inn is between Biltmore Village and Downtown although once on the property and for us in one of the outer buildings, you can feel as though you are farther away from town. When in the house you can feel as though you were in another time. Besides the location, the staff were considerate and assisted will all our needs. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to begin the day. The evening wine and snacks were a good way to start the evening as well. Sure will visit again.

We spent two nights in the top floor suite of the main house. This Victorian mansion has been wonderfully restored and furnished in period style. Rooms were comfortable, breakfasts excellent and lots of nice touches such as unlimited cookies/pastries, and even wine available up to 8 p.m. Located not far from downtown and the entrance to Biltmore Estate. Service was excellent and friendly

A visit planned to see Biltmore and escape a little Florida heat surpassed all expectations during our 2 night stay at this 1890s mansion, nestled in the trees on top of a hill. Oak wood paneling is in abundance on the inside but its very cozy. After checking in we noted the lemon bars, glazed cake and chocolate chip cookies, they were all good. Some variation of these treats present in the afternoon and evening. There was coffee, tea and ice water along with our choice of red or white wine.
The dining room opens out to a wrap around porch where breakfast is served during nice weather.
We opted for a third floor room as we don't mind climbing a few flights of stairs. There was a portable ac unit so the room was comfortable though we turned it off at times as the evening temps were comfortable with an open window. This room had its own bathroom but it was next to our room and to provide privacy there were curtains that you could pull around the 2 doors essentially giving you an en suite experience. The service was friendly and helpful. Some rooms are connected which would be nice for a larger group or family.
The breakfasts included eggs, hashbrowns, fruit, juice, muffins one day and waffles, fruit, bacon and eggs the next. Coffee, hot water for tea available 24 hours a day. The bed was a king and very comfy, water pressure in the shower good. some rooms are connecting making it nice for a larger group.
We walked to Biltmore Village for dinner both nights, its about a 5-10 minute walk. Walking to downtown Asheville would be doable in good weather but it would probably take 20-30 minutes. The drive to the entrance to Biltmore takes about 10 minutes.
I would book here again because the location is good, the house is lovely and the staff are really nice.

Room tip: There are some cottages that you could drive to on this property if you have mobility issues.
