We had not been to Sunny Point in some time. Every time we came by over the summer the wait was much longer than we were willing to hang around for. With the cold weather lately we noticed no line and we took a chance. We were seated right away and the menu still looked just a good as what I remembered. After looking everything over more than once we both ordered the Brunch Burger. Oh what a wonderful reunion. Sunny Point just knows how to make all the flavors come together. Cooked perfectly, mine medium well and my wife's medium. Wonderful thick tasty bacon with the egg sunny side up topping off the burger. The bun was warm and fluffy, not soggy. My wife loves the fries as a side. The burger is all I need. When we left we felt like we had hit the Saturday night jackpot.

We talked about how good it was all day Sunday. We both must have had the same dream because on the Monday MLK, Jr Holiday we headed back to Sunny Point to do it all again. It was just as good the second time. This time we did add the black bean avocado dip as an appetizer.

Our waiter, who's name I regret I can not recall, provided exceptional service. If he offers you a rainbow of colored pens to sign your check with you will know you have hit the jackpot too.

Once the weather starts to warm up I know our chances of getting dinner again will go down. Get in there while you can.

Wonderful breakfast here to wrap up our weekend in Asheville. We ate at the bar and had excellent service by Jesse. Will definitely be back!

The place has a very quirky atmosphere. Most of the servers are young and tattooed but don't let that put you off. The servers were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu items and talkative. The food came out very quickly even though the restaurant was VERY busy at 9:30 am. My husband ordered a daily special (Pig and squeak?), like a skillet and he loved it. I ordered the oatmeal hotcakes that were phenomenal. The coffee was some of the best we've had. The only downside is that there is limited parking. This is the perfect place if you like a diner feel but offers extraordinary breakfast fare.

Spent the weekend in Ashville and wanted to have brunch before leaving for home. Friends had recommended Sunny Point Café to us so we decided to try them. Fantastic meal. Some interesting combinations that are well worth trying. Glad we arrived early. Had a short wait but is was well worth it. Wait staff was attentive without being pushy, the food was great and the price was reasonable. All in all a great experience. Sunny Point Café is on our list for a return visit when in the Ashville region.
