We only stayed for one night, but based on this experience, we will definitely be back! The property is gorgeous with a large lobby. There is a bar and restaurant. They serve "table service" breakfast every day from 6-11am. The people at the desk were friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the room that was originally set aside for us, and so they quickly upgraded us to a King, corner room.

The room itself was beautiful. We had two large windows and a smaller one near the closet. the views of the mountains and the city were gorgeous. There is a desk and bureau. Near the door there is another small stand with the coffee maker, ice bucket and water carafe. You can get filtered water at the ice/vending area. There is a safe, but no refrigerator. We were very happy to see recycling bins!

The hotel is situated very close to the highway, however, we hardly even noticed once we were in our room. You can't see much of the highway and the windows block any sound.

My only complaint about the room was the lack of easily accessible electrical plugs. There is one open plug under the desk. It only worked out for us because we always travel with a power strip. In this day and age, I think all desk areas should have a strip of plugs and/or usb outlets.

We had breakfast downstairs the following morning and it was delicious. I had a regular breakfast with 2 eggs, toast, hash browns and bacon. It was wonderful. My husband had an egg sandwich on toast. He enjoyed it, although thought it was a bit dry. We heard another server ask customers which bread they wanted for their sandwich, our server didn't offer that. From what she said, it sounds as if he could have had it on a croissant or English muffin? The coffee was good, but served in small cups and when it's busy, it's a long time between refills.

The location of this hotel is perfect. It is walking distance (9-10 min) to the heart of the city. We love not having to touch our car until we leave a hotel. The self parking is free in an underground garage. There is valet parking available for $15 per night.

All in all it was a perfect stay and we will definitely visit this hotel again.

Room Tip: The corner rooms have great views!

What a great location. Just a short walk to everything in downtown. Staff very helpful and nice. Room was super clean and roomy. A bit pricey but all hotels near downtown are comparable. Would stay again for a short visit.

Picked the Indigo due to its location and being a IHG Platinum member. Very happy we chose to stay here. It's walking distance from downtown Asheville and the hotel is very modern and fresh. The staff was very helpful as well, and gave us some great restaurant suggestions.

The staff at the front desk knew us by name and asked us how we were every time we walked by. The rooms were awesome, very clean and roomy! It was so close to all of the downtown restaurants and shops, we didn't get in the car for days. The only recommendation I have is to request a room opposite the interstate, it's very noisy at night. Can't forget to mention the great views from higher rooms.

What a remarkable hotel!!! Trendy, perfect location, great food, room.....WOW!!! Literally impeccable. And service....EXCEPTIONAL!!! Kenneth Ingle was amazing from the phone conversation to check in. He. Is. A. Keeper. Seriously...he should be doing ads for Southern Hospitality!

I had read in a few reviews about the noise level....not a problem for us....you are in a downtown location of a city. What do people really expect? Let's be honest...this hotel is a reward for working hard...work hard, play hard. We LOVED our stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room
