We visited Ethel's at 250 for the July 4th long weekend with kids and loved the dining experience. The service was excellent. The owner of the restaurant, Sally, was very warm and cordial and made it a point to check with us about the food. We are vegetarians and the waitress was very friendly and helped us pick vegetarian options for us and the kids. The waitress also split the portion size for 2 on request. We were planning to take the Apostle Island evening cruise and as the cruise ends closer to 9pm, we called Sally to check if they would be open. She was quite flexible about the closing hours and asked us to come for dinner. The ambiance was very cozy and I would say this was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had!
