We stayed at Hotel Drisco as part of the "California leg" of our honeymoon. What can I say: it was perfect. We had been in SF a couple of times before, always staying in the Wharf area, where the large Hotel companies have some of their properties. Well, I´m never staying at the Wharf or Union Square area again, I will always try to go back to the Drisco.
Upon check in, we had a King room with a city view reserved for us, 206 A (there are few, most of the kings I understand, look into a patio, so this was a nice gesture). When we entered the room, the view was beautiful and breathtaking, and we had a bottle of champagne waiting for us, with a very warm note on how they wish we return to the Drisco to celebrate anniversaries (we certainly hope to!).
We never had an issue to park just around the corner to the hotel entrance. All staff and housekeeping was great and helpful. European-style breakfast is delicious, and the wines in the evening tasting were good. And to top it all off... the neighborhood!!More
