We were a group of seven and had a recommendation to visit their flagship restaurant which was fully booked but they recommended their second more casual restaurant in the Mission district.
We started with the famous Peruvian cocktail "Pisco Sours" - a must. (The shiraz that followed recommended by our waiter and the Savignon Blanc were both beautiful).
The empanadas , the roast chicken and the diced beef chunks in traditional sauces were all succulent.
Try the Seafood Ceviche misto (raw seafoods marinated/ cooked in citrus juices).
The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and can be a little on the loud side. We ate downstairs which would be a hurdle for wheelchair access. The decor is funky and the staff clearly enjoy their jobs. Parking can be crowded on the street - so enjoy a ride and have a second Pisco Sour.
