We just got lucky st Scoma’s! After a 6 mile walk across Golden Gate Bridge and hiking our way to Sausalito we were starving! A quick glance at Scoma on the Bay’s menu (along with a peak at internet reviewws) we had lunch.

Fresh! Delicious! Great service! White table cloth dining, great views. Oysters were briny, fresh—-right off the boat. One of the best calamari we’ve had too.

Even if you’re dressed very casually you’ll be warmly welcomed.

During our staying in cisco we had lunch twice at Scomas. Service by Chris, the waiter, was perfect and so the food
We had the Oysters all Scoma, the Alaskan Salmon, the Alaskan Halibut and the Cannoli as dessert, perfect choice after the fishes, not heavy and smooth

We looked forward to a repeat visit and told everyone how wonderful it would be but not so. The bartender was very pushy about ordering drinks while we waited for our requested window seat.

The table was as requested, and great. We had one of each of the salads. All were fresh and well prepared, with the beet salad the pick of the table.

The Lazy Man’s” Cioppino was good but not very warm. The sole was a bit on the greasy side. The sword fish was very disappointing. It had a large bloodline plus a weird sauce. Simple as in the past would have been much better. The Prawns and Scallops alla Gannon were good but not spectacular.

For the price, next time we will look elsewhere for wonderful seafood in SF.

Wonderful crab salad. My husband was put off by the wait to get a table but his eyes lit up when he saw the mound of crab on his crab louie salad. Yep we go back EVERY time we are in SF
