This hotel has it all! The location couldn't be better, the room was clean, and the view was spectacular! The bathroom shower could use a safety update, and the bathroom needs an exhaust fan but that is the only negative about the room!
Be sure to bring drinks and snacks to the room because between 9:30 pm and 9:00 am nothing in the area is open for these things. We were a bit disappointed with the early closing times of stores in the area. Pier 39 closed at 8:00 pm, even on Saturday; some stores closer to the hotel were open until 9:00. That doesn't leave much time to browse after having dinner.
We wished the museum had open as it would have been quite interesting.
We would definitely stay here again!

great location; nice hotel, fantastic staff. Be aware there is a tub with fairly high sides and no bar to grasp; it seems unsafe. A second hook would be nice, as would an exhaust fan so the mirror would clear after the shower. More than one towel per person shouldn't be a luxury; it should be a given in a hotel like this.

The room was beautiful and the bay view window was so perfect. Liked the location and atmosphere. But the food at the Blue Mermaid was not impressive or tasted good for the price. We got the American breakfast, the first day was ok, not much potatoes on the plate but at least they were warm not even hot, that hot potatoes is what I expected. But the second day we gave it a second chance OMG , big mistake. Both of our breakfasts were cold, my potatoes were wrinkled by that I mean they been sitting for a while on the pot, and cold. Our toast was cold too and stiff, like if it was an older batch. The waiter was ok, I had to asked more than twice for coffee , or water. He hardly checked if we needed anything, and there was maybe 3 tables, not that busy. Again location and atmosphere was great but the Blue mermaid was not at all, I like to eat at least warm breakfast not cold, and i didn’t complaint on my food because I am afraid they will do something to it. I just think for the price of the meal , it should be at least a hot meal. Also someone mentioned on the reviews, for the price of the room not even a complementary water bottle. I agree, at least 1 or 2 water bottles.
