What a fun hotel in a great location! We loved our water view (we could see Alcatraz) and that we were steps from Fisherman’s Wharf and Ghiradelli Square. We had a drink at the Blue Mermaid, which was a bit pricey but a lot of fun. Great place for a romantic stay! More

I can't say enough about our stay here. Our family of 4 came to San Fran to visit all the sites and this hotel had a great location. You just have to walk right out of your hotel and you are right there in the heart of everything. The customer service here is unbelievable. We travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels and the customer service here is top notch. Someone is always at the front door greeting you and are happy to answer any questions you have. All the staff was very friendly. Our bags were brought up to the room for us very quickly after we had arrived to our room. Once we had to call for extra bedding for the pull our sofa sleeper and someone brought bedding up right away.
Customer service here is awesome and location can't be beat. The hotel has many special and unique elements such as a fireplace near the lobby. The structure of the hotel is very historical and has some very cool architectural elements. I would definitely come back to this hotel again if we are ever in San Fran and I highly recommend staying here especially if your a first timer and want easy access to explore! You won't be disappointed!

Located in the historic Haslett Warehouse and built in 1907, the Argonaut’s home is a grand building of exposed brick, Douglas Fir beams and so much character; you feel as though you can almost reach out and touch the colorful Barbary Coast past. Thoughtful details throughout the guest rooms and lobby, bountiful fresh seafood on the menu and the adjacent National Maritime Visitor Center all play a part to tell the hotel’s Gold Rush-era inspired story.
It really is a unique property - and we are genuinely delighted that our crew was just as distinctive and helpful, every step of the way! Thank you so much for recognizing them and awarding us with such a great review!

No doubt, the price is different than other hotel near by, but not by much.
And yet, the location, service is excellent.
We looked around and ended up eating at the hotel for the breakfast.
The food is good, 7/10.
I will come back again.

Nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. Front desk staff is outstanding for customer service, Corinne is extraordinary and is the real article. Gustavo was extremely helpful when purchasing t-shirts late at night. Front desk employee, Daysha (sp?) was genuine and friendly. Mikey and Jeremiah were super helpful with the bags. Such a beautiful hotel. Clean and cozy. The history is amazing. Fire place down in the lobby is a great place to chill with the family. Cheers to the Argonaut and their stellar team lucky enough to have them! Thank you for the wonderful getaway! The complimentary bikes were an added bonus which the whole family enjoyed.

We love this hotel! Our second time staying. Expensive, but worth the hospitality, location, and cleanliness! Highly recommend if wanting to stay close to the Wharf. Walking distance to Piers/Alcatraz/Etc.

Never being in San Francisco before, we found the Argonaut Hotel. Great area for a first timer. The hotel is a lovely boutique stay. Kind of coastal and a little rustic. After just an afternoon, we felt like it was a home away from home. Peter gave us great suggestions for breakfast and dinners. Those local places! He was very helpful. Jeremiah helped with places to see and tours to take. We’ll come back to Argonaut again.
