Nice place. Choose the blackbeard challenge if you're not with kids.

My husband and I paid for a round on each of the 2 available courses, and found that the second course was not as good as the first as it looked like it had been shoehorned onto the site as an afterthought.
Having said that the first round, that included a hole within a pirate ship, was such good fun that we forgave them for the lack of original holes within the second course.
Good clean fun for all the family.

2 fun courses with waterfalls, a pirate ship, and cannon that shoots water! Love the hole where the ball goes through the water and pops out below. And just enough challenge for the adults and kids to have fun.

Or a sunny day! Two courses that are both challenging will entertain all ages. You can do one or both courses (better deal to do both).

After a long day at Acadia National Park, our family decided to unwind with a relaxing round of mini-golf at Pirate's Cove. Out of all the mini-gold places we have been to, this one was one of the most impressive. You have the option of two courses - the original and Blackbeard's Challenge. Both courses were $8 per adult.

We elected to the try the slightly more difficult Blackbeard course. The way that the courses were aligned, however, allowed us to see both. Both had pristine surfaces which allowed for smooth rolling. Some holes even had rough patches that tried to simulate sand bunkers and rough terrain - not very effective but very appealing anyway! The entire establishment was thoroughly planned out. Our course had us going over small streams, inside a cave and under the other course. At one hole, we even had to hit our balls with sufficient force to clear a small, unbounded gap over a stream.

Overall, the course was a very fun way to end the night! The place is open until 10:30, so there is plenty of time to enjoy it!
