I just stayed one night here as part of a self drive tour of the island but im already thinking how can i change my plans to go back.

It is completely unassuming in a lovely rural setting and gives you a real feeling of subsistence living. The breakfast which was included was lovely coffee, fresh fruit and there was gluten free bread.

You can wander freely around the grounds relax in the gardens and just feel your heart beat slow down. The rooms are basic but adequate and whilst sharing a bathroom isnt everyones choice the setting makes it seem acceptable the shower makes up for it.

The pool was closed during my stay but with some of the best beaches on the island within a 5 minute drive it really did not matter.

This is not necessarily an easy place to find. It is like an adventure to get there. But that is half the fun. A couple of miles off the main road, you will run into this very nice, organic farm and restaurant. It is not fancy, but the food is tasty and made from the freshest of ingredients. We went as a group and all praised its quality. The soup and the salad were delicious, the macadamia nut pasta was rich and full of carrots and kale. Again, memorably good. We finished with cheese cake and sorbet. Both were highly praised. The staff is friendly and willing to discuss the menu. We liked the atmosphere, which was laid back. The restaurant seemed to get a nice mix of locals. Afterward we visited the organic farm that surrounded the place. It was quite fun and different from the chain restaurants, and microwaved frozen foods one gets used to in other settings. We all resolved to return for more.

I want people to go to this restaurant. It is part of a small community staffed by employees and volunteers who run a farm. They also have a couple of lovely homes that you can rent. The menu is very health oriented and includes whole wheat pasta, fresh tuna, vegetables, and chicken. The atmosphere is a large kitchen eating area in a farm home. There is also patio and outdoor seating. As you enter, you pass through a reception area filled with a wonderful library of local and international fame. It is worth taking a few minutes to examine the books and even maybe sit and read for a while. The restaurant and farm are located about 5 miles up the valley from the coast in Waianae. The drive up to the farm leads towards beautiful volcanic mountains that form the western ridge of mountains on Oahu. The food is not fabulous but it is healthy, sturdy and tasty. You feel healthy when you leave. Of particular note was the seared Ahi tuna. My wife and daughter both agreed it was wonderful. This is a BYOB place with no corkage charge. As I said at the beginning, I want people to go to this restaurant. The people there are very nice and devoted to their cause. They are welcoming and kind. They work hard to provide an enjoyable and healthy experience.

Wonderful food, extremely healthy and bright in a very relaxed atmosphere in the middle of nowhere. A wonderful experience. Would like to try and stay the night in the bed and breakfast part.
