Great site manager. WONDERFUL views and quiet areas that are within walking distance of grocery stores. The manager made some recommendations when we asked about local cuisine and activities. She was SPOT ON. We wound up on the front row at a Luau, which is what my wife had always wanted to see. She had a great time and checked a bucket list box thanks to the manager here! Thank you for a wonderful time.

The hotel is extremely relaxed, like most of Maui! Set around ten miles north of Lahaina, you will need a car to easily enjoy the area. One of the finest beaches on the island lies only a five minute walk away and the facilities are extremely good. The rooms are well sized and offer everything needed for a self catering stay. Have visited Maui twice and would return here anytime!

My last review of Napili Surf has been read almost 16,000 times so it seems to me that yet another review may be a bit like over-kill. But my family and I are still smiling from this last stay so I could not let it slide. Napili Surf is beyond incredible yet as impossible as it seems to me, they are stepping up their game even further!

By now, the entire complex is shuttered. They have begun the renovations that required four years of financial saving by the numerous owners that have always shown their love for this slice of paradise by supporting it, often through generations of their own families. On this stay, my family cycled through four different rooms and frankly, none of them seemed as though they required anything near what the owners are planning.

For this trip, our family required two rooms as our teenage daughter brought her BFF along and they preferred to be on their own. The vacation was made all the better because these two exceptional young women had their own car though, I can obviously not give Napili Surf credit for that part of our stay. Mom and Dad never had it so easy! We moved twice because Mom prefers the Garden View Studios while Dad likes the Ocean Front Studios. As renovations started in the Garden while we were there, we managed to have the first part of our vacation in the Garden while the last half was over looking the ocean. Tough life, right?

The office staff are still on site to take reservations though the newly renovated complex will not be re-opened until January 2018. You don't know me but if you are open to taking a recommendation from a total stranger on tripadvisor, book your next 2018 Maui vacation here. Reviewing the booking calendar before we flew home, showed the number of folks jumping to get their names registered for a carefree stay at the brand new Napili Surf in 2018! You will not be disappointed!

Everything was perfect! Fantastic location - on the beach with snorkelling and swimming and all kinds of beach supplies- chairs, fins, noodles, towels everything you need.

Our room (214) was very clean and updated with a full kitchen and everything needed to cook. The fresh -cut up pineapple in the fridge was a very nice welcome!
There are ceiling fans in all rooms (including the bathroom) and portable fans as there is an any AC but we were very comfortable.
The bed was also very comfortable and an overall relaxing, quiet place to enjoy the beach.
Some other people noted parking was tricky but we never found that to be the case we always found a spot easily.

We were also there for the Friday breakfast - wow what a presentation out on the main oceanfront lawn. They were grilling corn bread which you could have topped with jam or honey, eggs, grilled spam, coconut banana bread, cinnamon rolls, papaya juice, fruit smoothies, coffee, teas, star fruit, pineapple it was amazing.

Just up the road there is a market with some small restaurants for food you can also walk along the beach to the Seahouse or of the road to Merrimans for great happy hour drinks and food. Merrimans has the best Mai Tais on the island!!!
Swimming and snorkelling in the Napili Bay is great you can also walk up to Kapalua Bay for snorkeling

It's great to have a car in the area so you can go exploring just 15 minutes north is Honolua Bay with really cool jungle walk through the trees with wild roosters and then a bay where you can go snorkeling.

The staff are so helpful and friendly, the grounds are kept meticulously- what can we say other than we can't wait to come back!

Could not fault this resort. Perfect location, excellent spacious apartment equipped with everything we could have wanted, complete with a view of the amazing beach. Lovely, lovely hosts. If I was ever to come back to Maui I would not hesitate to come back to this delightful resort.
