Maui is best, and the Mauian Hotel is the best place to stay on Maui. It's the beach, the view, the rooms, the breakfast, the landscaping, but most of all, it is the staff that give this place so much aloha. Leilani and Wilma at the front desk remember us every year!

Lovely small hotel right on the beach. Great pool, loungers, BBQ's, eating area etc. Grounds were very clean and tidy at all times. Beach was literally steps from hotel room. Great location for younger kids. Fab snorkelling at the beach too. Fresh fruit, coffee, toast etc for breakfast every day. Rooms were good size - beds big and comfy with good AC. Large bathroom and housecleaning each day. Beach towels available and able to exchange clean ones each day. Not a huge amount of variation for restaurants within walking distance - but some of the units had full kitchens to cook with. We hired a car and ventured out each day - which we thought we needed. No umbrellas on the beach or around the pool which was missing and no loungers on the beach, which would have been nice rather than having to sit up in a chair to sunbathe. All in all, we had a lovely relaxing time and couldn't have been happier with the hotel.

We recently stayed at the Mauian Hotel on Napili Beach on the West Coast of Maui, Hawaii. We made the reservation through a friend since we didn't find it on our searches prior to booking it. It's a little gem on the most beautiful beach in Maui. The rooms are generous with a good size kitchen, full fridge, stove stop and all the equipment you could possibly need to cook yourself, if required. The beds are supper comfortable with Tempur memory foam mattresses and pillows and cotton sheets. The garden and beach views from our big balcony were stunning. A 30 seconds walk along the open deck or garden led to a soft sand beach with calm clear water, protected by a reef. The landscaping was beautiful and lush comparable to a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was included in the nightly rate and was plentiful and fresh with different types of toast, tropical fruit, juices, boiled eggs, condiments, coffee and tea. A washer and dryer coin operated laundry is available to guests. On Wednesday nights a drinks and snack "meet the neighbors' gathering is held by the pool with free Mai Tais. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and so were all the guest we encountered. It's quiet at night as well, so not a party place. It's very family friendly and we met lots of guests who had come to this wonderful place for decades, which says it all. We'll be back for sure!

Room Tip: Ask for a Partial Ocean View Room on the top floor.

What a lovely place to stay in paradise. Comfortable accommodations, friendly service, beautiful secluded beach with views of Lanai and Moloka'i in the distance. Every evening has a perfect sunset, with Napili bay facing almost due west. The beach has a fantastic coral reef, perfect for snorkeling. Floating with sea turtles was the highlight!
