This condo is very well located - right on the beach. We had a ground floor which we found very convenient. I would cover your drains, however. The management staff are very helpfull and friendly. We look forward returning to this condo complex.

Stayed in 301 for 8 days. A lovely clean and well appointed 2 bedroom condo right on one of Maui's best beaches. Perfect central location to explore the island. Beach was much less crowded than the other main beaches we explored around the island.

We have stayed all around Maui and the HHK so far is the best mix of everything. Beautiful beach , not too busy, super comfy condo #103. Grounds are beautiful and it is surprisingly quiet and quaint here. We love it for ourselves and two young adult children.

Stayed for a week at Hale Hui Kai condos. We were in unit 302. It is a very nice unit with A/C and full kitchen. The bathrooms are clean and showers are tiled walk-in style. Very nice. The condos are just a few steps from a beautiful beach. The sand is nice and soft and the water is very calm. Great for playing in the water or snorkeling. Some of the kids were boogie boarding, but I would say there were very small swell and no real waves. The complex has a small pool, but with the beach right there, no real reason to use it. Our condo had chairs and snorkeling equipment to use. We also had free wifi in the unit. Another nice touch was the door was combination keyed, so you did not have to carry or worry about a key or key card. Just remember your door combination. Nice with kids so they could come and go.

Maui is expensive, so I would recommend stocking up at Costco or Walmart, which are close to the airport. We cooked most of our food in the condo. We also stocked up on drinks and snacks from Costco and Walmart. There is a small strip mall with a Safeway about 4 miles from the condo complex.

There is free parking on the complex, but beware the spaces are very tight. Make sure the unit you choose has A/C. Not all of them do. Overall, the location is great and our particular unit was very nice. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Make sure the unit you choose has A/C. Not all do.

This is the nicest place I've ever stayed at on Maui. Granted I've only stayed at two other locations, but this is my favorite by far. The beach is amazing! You can go on a quick jog in the morning, go snorkeling, and even scuba diving through the nearby hotel.
If you're looking for beautiful views with a full kitchen and bath you've found the right place.
That being said the pool isn't exactly one you'd lounge around in, but who cares when you've got miles of beautiful beach to use. I will say if you're looking for a spa it's a short drive into Wailea (and the grand Wailea has this amazing half a pineapple desert you can get without paying a grand a night).
Also there's a small koi fish pond, the cutest geckos and downtown kihei minutes away.
