The condo is a old 2 bedroom apartment, but it's a cute little place. No AC which is okay if it's not hotter than normal as it was for us so very uncomfortable. Only 1 working washer working for the hole complex. Had to deal with ants in the bathroom every day we were there. Could not lock either screen door at night so had to close the doors so it stays hot at night. It's not right across from k3 beach but it is still with in walking distance.so do like we did and don't plan on being there much
With some concern we booked this place near our favorite beach in Kihei and we were really pleased with the place, the location and the stay overall.
The unit is very nicely decorated and comfortable, quite roomy and a very enjoyable layout. Nice furniture, comfy beds, good TV setup and a nice view from the lanai.
The walk to Keawakapu across at Five Palms/The Mana Kai hotel is 5 minutes max walking with a baby stroller, anyone saying the beach is further must be turning the wrong way and going into town instead of directly across to the left. Nice and close, went down three times a day.
No A/C in the room, one site listed it as having a/c, but we got over it fast enough. Generally the block of condos was quiet and peaceful but almost every afternoon the dude below us blasted dance music LOUD, not ideal for serenity, for a sleeping baby or for peaceful evenings. Called the property manager a couple times, on the last couple of nights he was quieter. If this happens to you just pop down and ask him to lower it, he was nice enough.
There is WIFI in the unit, you need to ask the agent for the password though.
Overall very happy with the place and the location, go for it.
