Stayed 6 days in Kapaa. There is a walking trail adjacent to the property that follows the beachline. You can walk for a few mile if you want. Nice views and the crashing waves, what could be better. The condo itself sleeps 6, bedroom with 2 twins a hideabed and a loft with separate bathroom. It was nice but a little dated and has a full kitchen. The view of the sunrise was great!.

The place is older but location and the friendly staff makes up for it. No AC but was not an issue this time of the year (end of January), except for when we checked in and hauled up our luggage (3rd floor no elevator) Great view of the ocean. Extremely friendly staff with good suggestions. As for most of the beaches around that area is not suitable for swimming but great place to relax with a large lawn area. Will be back.

Booked a 1 bedroom. 2 couples. The extra bed in the living room (in closet) was super comfortable like a bed in a bedroom per the couple that stayed there for 5 nights. Full sized kitchen, the location offers a pool and a hot tub which is central to all the units. Hospitality was solid and friendly. Simple location, don't expect a resort with a huge garden etc but a solid place to stay that's comfortable and dependable. Across street from a Safeway, Starbucks and easy walking distance to a number of eateries. Check out downtown kapaa which is about a mile north for solid dining options and window shopping.

We arrived last Wednesday and are here until this coming Friday. Unit is nice, but not outstanding. It's nice being on the beach, but the beach is rocky and not suited for swimming.
I was really surprised that the TV was. not Hi-def and that we had to pay for wi-fi. Also, there's no in-unit laundry. There is laundry on site. Bring quarters!
It's close to grocery shopping and lots of restaurants which is nice.
Yes, I'd come back again now that I know the limitations.

We were able to score a two week trade and stay a Worldmark Kapaa. We added a week prior with friends in Maui and a week after in Princeville, making it possible to spend the month of May on our favorite islands. We had never stayed in Kapaa before but have enjoyed being in town and being able to walk to stores and restaurants. We especially love the proximity of the bike/walking trail along the beach that begins so close to this property. The resort itself is fairly quiet. Our unit faced the ocean and we loved falling asleep to the waves and walking out front for the sunrise. The expanse of lawn was wonderful for a nap on one of the many chaise lounges. The staff was very friendly and easy to deal with. Overall, we liked this location quite well and would not hesitate to return in the future.

Room tip: ocean view best and away from pool area if possible.
