We did the Na Pali Coast snorkel en BBQ tour on the Northern Star with Captain Roy and his crew. What a great experience; really recommend it! The catamaran and the snorkel equipment were in great condition. Captain Roy is very funny and tells a lot of what you see during the tour. Food and open bar were also very good. We were very lucky, because the weather was perfect. We saw dolphins, sea turtles and of course the beautiful Na Pali Coast all the way! <3

When I booked the Sunset Dinner Cruise I expected a nice calm sail along the Napali coast whilst romantically dining on a delicious meal. Not so, but keep reading! Initially we were a bit put out when the crew said that no drinks of the alcoholic type were to be offered until later on in the ride. So as the boat set off what we experienced was a fun, exhilarating and bouncy ride up the coast that left a few unfortunates a little nauseous if not totally seasick! The initial "no alcohol code" became more understandable! Once the beautiful Napali coast line was in view the sail went up and the dinner, and alcohol was served. The food was great! Exceptional in fact! A very nice blue cheese green salad to start, Filet Mignon and shrimp as the main. My husband likes his steak "cooked" "no red" (don't judge!) The chef obliged and my husband had a very succulent and moist steak. The veggies were great too, garlic roasted potatoes and seared asparagus with some yummy buttered carrots. Dessert was a fresh lemon cheesecake that my husband actually ate even though cheesecake is not one of his favorites! For those of us who were a little queasy, we were able to take ours home and both myself and my sister took ours home and it feed the four of us the next afternoon for lunch, with a few extra veggies thrown in and the 2 filet mignons butterflied. As for the crew they were totally outstanding! Very attentive, quick with the sick bags, quick with the top up of drinks, totally service orientated. The second best thing we did, that we had to pay for, in Kauai! The first being "Wings Over Kauai" So, we got to see the fantastic Napali Coast from the air, from land and from the sea!

This was by far the best thing we did on the island during our time here. Our captain Tony and his crew aboard our Star Snorkel BBQ were the absolute best. Very attentive, fun and personable. We saw spinner dolphins, got to swim along side turtles and the crew taught us a lot about the island and the surroundings. What an absolute blast. So why haven’t you booked yet!? :-)
