If you are headed to the Kohala Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii and are looking for inexpensive nice resorts then check this one. Rates are not terribly expensive and the property has full service restaurants and bars with service to the pool. They have two great pools with one of them more focused on kids. Fitness center on property is nice and beds were very comfortable. Located directly across from Kings Shopping center with lots of parking. Marriotts standard service helps make this property a great choice for your next Hawaiian vacation.

We worked with Blinnk Photography out of the Waikoloa Marriott - which was especially convenient. The shoot itself was fun and relaxed and our photographer Riley was so sweet. Melissa was then very patient with us as we chose the beautiful photos we wanted to share with our family and friends. We couldn’t think of a better way to mark such an exciting time in our lives. Thank you for a special sunset engagement photo shoot!

Really enjoyed our stay. We upgraded to the cabanas which I highly recommend. Definitely ask about upgrade fees- they weren’t bad. We were staying on points so it was a no brainer. Cabanas are newly renovated and everything is upgraded from the standard room - full size coffee pot, ceramic mugs, bath items, etc. Only downside was we killed some spiders in our room.
We stayed our first night in a garden view room. If we had stayed there, it wouldn’t have been such a great trip.
Pools were great. Nothing was that crowded due to the volcano.
Hawaii Calls restaurant exceeded expectations. Enjoyed the quesadilla and the seafood boil night.
Added bonus of the stay was the use of hospitality rooms. We didn’t fly out til 10 so it made everything easier. Sign up the day before check out to pick a time.

I have nothing but great things to say about this resort and it's staff! We came here for five nights for our honeymoon and were greeted with leis and smiles which was nice after such a long flight from New York. Our king pool view room was clean, had great views, and I loved that they had robes and slippers for us. The bathroom counter was huge which is great cause we brought a lot of toiletries. We were a short walk from the pools and loved that there were the pools one of which had a fun water slide. The walk down to the beach along the fish ponds was beautiful - it's clear they put a lot of work into maintaining the grounds. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating we had nothing but positive interactions with them.

I loved the room service breakfast! Not only was it delicious but all you have to do it use the card in your room to mark what you want and what time you want it delivered and hang out on your door the night before - which allowed us to fill us before going out on adventures.

We didn't get to see the west side of the island due to all the volcano activity but luckily we attended the orientation with Asia who gave us great ideas for other things to do on the east coast - ask her about her secret turtle beach!

It was great to be walking distance from two nice shopping centers which allowed us to go out to eat and drink for dinner without worrying about driving.

I also loved finding out that they take really good care of the feral cats and wild birds that choose to live with them. They work with a local rescue to spay/neuter and vaccinate the cats and they all have names! As someone who works in the veterinary field it really warmed my heart to know how much the staff love and care for the animals.

We fully plan on making it back to Hawaii one day and would love to stay here again!!

We stayed here for 10 days. We spent some time at the pool and beach which was nice and well kept. The staff was very nice to us while we stayed. They have a nice pool and beach area with plenty of chairs for everyone.
Our room was a pool view but it was mostly a tree view so unless your high up in their program I don't think a pool view is worth the extra money. Other than that it's great!
