The sunset in this area is absolutely gorgeous. Sitting on this beach at sunset is wonderful.
This is Alison a great place to swim and sun. Definitely not the best sand, or the best swimming because the sand is not as fine and soft here and there are rocks in the water just off shore, but pleasant and refreshing.
There is a trail that starts near here and goes along the shoreline and it is fun little adventure. I especially love it during the cool morning hours.
It can be busy in the evening at sunset so come a bit early and you won’t have to park as far away!
Of course, if you are staying near the Marriott Waikoloa you could take a stroll. It might be a bit far for the less active though.

This is a really beautiful beach in Waikoloa to relax on the sand, snorkel and to watch the sunset.

Parking is free and close to the entrance. There are restrooms. The rocky area is fun to climb around and look for sea turtles - bring your water shoes. Go for a walk along the beach or grab a drink at the Lava Lava Beach Club.

Long beach to sit and relax on or go in for a swim. It's a beautiful place at sunset. Got great pictures there.

Nice and accessible beach - not too crowded. There are change rooms/washrooms at entry. When you enter, you can see a number of the many wild cats relaxing amongst the trees that are cared for by volunteers. The beach is nice and clean and there are chairs for rent. You can walk along the beach and enjoy the waves - you can also swim in the calm waters.

This lovely beach is large enough to feel like you could hang out there all day, yet also small enough and off the beaten path so that it doesn’t feel too overcrowded. There are plenty of trees to one side for shade, and beautiful palm trees for gorgeous sunset pictures. The water is usually pretty calm, so it’s great for snorkeling.
