This laid-back atmosphere allows as much privacy or involvement in community as you desire. Basic amenities are provided for the do-it-yourselfer or full service is available. A clean, well maintained, versatile operation.

Was very happy with our stay here. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The food was very good. Has a kitchen and grills if you want to cook. Washer and dryer also which is great. The drinks were only so so and the bar closed at 6pm. The pools were amazing and nice that there was an adult only pool. Saw wild goats every am which was a treat. Had free rides to Waikoloa Village which was also beautiful. Great for snorkeling. The shopping was great and there was a Costco and walmart close by. Also had a nice shop on the property that sold liquor. Very nice and would highly recommend!

Kings Land is a laid back resort in Waikoloa, HI. My family and I enjoyed relaxing at the various pools and golf courses. Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed for our weeklong stay. There were plenty of places nearby for groceries, etc. we would definitely stay here again if visiting this part of the island!

check in staff was not the greatest. the Bell boys and the cleaning people were great. Food on the big island is not the greatest either. We loved the island though. Guess thats good not good food means you loose weight.

My wife and I recently stayed at Kings Land for a week in a one bedroom suite. The accommodations and room sizes were excellent. The staff was also VERY accommodating in placing in a suite next to the serenity pool (1st floor). My wife's foot was injured, so this room location was ideal to help minimize the amount of walking. They also had free internet and it ran quite well.

My only issue with Kings Land is its location. For us, when we go to Hawaii we expect to be on the beach. This property is not. And you can't see the ocean from a distance either. They do provide shuttle service to their Hilton Hotel (which is waterfront), but who wants to do that all the time? We didn't, so we often got into our car and went to one of the local beaches about 20 minutes away. For this reason -- if we ever go back to the Big Island -- I will likely not stay at Kings Land and go to an oceanfront location.

Room tip: If you're traveling as a couple, stay at building 4. It's next to the serenity pool which has less kids and noise than the main pools.
