This is a great park to do a stroll along the water at dusk and then to sit and watch the sunset over Hilo. Not really crowded on a Wednesday evening. A good mix of tourists and locals. The sunset views are worth the visit!

Lovely park on the bayfront, lots of places to wander or just sit and watch the world go by. The park has an Asian feel, pretty but not overdone statuary, a pretty small lake easily circled, and it is scrupulously clean and beautifully maintained.

Wonderful Japanese style gardens in Hilo on the water with a beautiful view on the snow capped mountains. Peaceful walk for an 1-2 hours, remember you are on vacation. Lot!s of ponds and plenty of photo ops to make great memories.

Just happened upon this Garden. It is a must see. We were treated to see a Japanese Tea Ceremonial rehearsal. Beautiful and tranquil.

A beautiful park in the middle of the city. It was peaceful and well kept. Enjoyed the walk and watching the ground hogs play, chase or just hunting in general. Took a break in the gazebo and it was nice and breezy.
