Steaks were delicious. We had the tenderloins and a large New York strip. All were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. Had a couple beers and wife had a grapefruit martini with vodka. She enjoyed it. Sides were Mexican corn and baked potatoes. All were fine. They forgot the Brussel sprouts which was disappointing. The place was a bit empty and we were seated close to the bar.

My husband and I stopped for dinner. It was busy and we didn’t have a reservation but hostess got us a table in only half hour. Had couple great craft beers and fun watching the very efficient bartenders! Wait service was fantastic, sides & appetizers were delicious but we were both disappointed in our steaks. They were tough. For the money, we expected a bit better. Would go back for the drinks and apps, but not the main meal.

Many reviewers claim the food was overpriced and although it isn’t cheap, the large servings make the value a bit more palatable. I ordered the cowboy cut prime rib which came out a bit less than the medium rare ordered but it was delicious, tender and very moist. The crust was a bit salty but still sumptuous. It came with mashed potatoes and broccoli I so not ala carte as is the case with the other entrees. My wife and daughter ordered the bison steak which was also delicious. They could have ordered and split one order as the serving sizes was large enough for the two of them so we took home a more than a whole steak. The Brussels sprout was a bit greasy but flavorful. The service was good but nothing exceptional. We would definitely return if ever back in the area.

I enjoyed a quiet, exclusive dinner in a nice steakhouse downstairs of the busiest bar in Jackson on the main square. They offer beefsteaks, elk, bison and other wild game in a sampler. The wild game sampler was delicious.

We enjoyed a nice meal here on August 9, w028. The service was very good - we had tickets at the Jackson Playhouse and they did a super job of accommodating our tight schedule! The bread and chive oil they serve before dinner was the best!! One of our party had prime rib, ordered medium well, and it was way too rare. But the server returned it and they cooked it a little longer and it was just fine. The burger was really delicious - probably the favorite thing of the group (we had a mix of steak, chicken, burger and prime rib at our table). I would say the actual restaurant is a little less updated than some options in Jackson and it was a tad warm in there on a summer evening. But overall, the food was really good and the service was great!
