For a hotel experience that doesn't break the bank like Hotel Jackson, White Buffalo might be your place. Just a few blocks west of the town square, at the base of East Gros Ventre Butte, the location is just about perfect. Staying close to the town square is definitely worth the price for the luxury of walking to dinner, local shopping, and sights.
The suite was a reasonable size with necessary amenities. One important note is that the balcony is shared with the adjacent suite, but only truly has furniture and space for a couple. This wasn't a problem for our trip, but could be for yours.
Understandably, in COVID times, the breakfast isn't what one would hope for. This isn't the fault of the hotel. Breakfast consisted of a ziplock bag, delivered to your door, with: cereal (variety), a pint of milk, a packaged muffin, Chobani Greek Yogurt, a package of oatmeal, an apple, an orange, and a package of orange juice. While not a nice, hot meal, it was enough to start our day. Of note, we were asked our preferred delivery time for breakfast, and it was consistently 30-60 minutes late. Keurigs are available in the room, but require going to the front counter for a resupply essentially daily. There also was unfortunately no room service at all during the trip, due to COVID.
We did not have any issues with customer service, as previous guests mentioned....For a hotel experience that doesn't break the bank like Hotel Jackson, White Buffalo might be your place. We did not have any issues with customer service, as previous guests mentioned. Check in was smooth, though early check in was not available. The counter attendants helped with anything needed.
Overall, this is a nicely located hotel for the price (compared to the area).More
