Understated and elegant. Wood fires in your room, coffee and cookies in the library, a staff that engages, a rooftop hot tub and intimate dining. Sophisticated, yet unpretentious. The perfect place to stay in this incredible area.

Room Tip: We stayed in the King fireplace and it was excellent.

Recent visit to Yellowstone. Prebooked a room for a few nights in Jackson Hole and chose the Rusty Parrot. Tucked away in a side street which is very quiet. Not so imposing but very different once inside. Spacious rooms clean and very comfortable especially the beds.Staff friendly and welcoming and helpful In house restaurant with an excellent menu with professional staff. Eggs Benedict for breakfast highly recommended and the evening fine dining is also great quality. My wife upgraded us to a room with a fire place. Has its limitations so probably not worth it.For the cold weather there is an outside hot tub where you can contemplate the mountains and sip on hot cider , Fantastic.Overall a very welcoming and comfortable experience.

Room Tip: King room. Don't bother with the fireplace.

We just returned home after spending a week in Jackson Hole, and it was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had! We are extremely grateful for the wonderful service we received at the Rusty Parrot Lodge. Everyone there went out of his or her way to make us feel relaxed and welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cozy and we appreciated the turn down service at night complete with delicious chocolates. We celebrated our anniversary dinner in the Wild Sage dining room and savored every bite of the artistically presented custom creations for which the restaurant is known. We were even presented with a special dessert in honor of our anniversary! Recommendations for day tours of the National Parks, fly fishing locations, on site spa services, and local restaurants were spot on! The staff at the Rusty Parrot was so attentive that we felt like we were amongst old friends, and the entire experience made us want to make visiting there an annual event. There is not one thing we would change! We also want to give a “shout out,” to Barry, Peter, Jennifer, and Jean Paul for their personal attention and service. The Rusty Parrot Lodge is truly a gem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at the Rusty Parrot! We were greeted by friendly staff in every department. From morning coffee to evening treats, turn down service with chocolates. We felt like family! Chef Travis does and amazing job with the restaurant. We enjoyed some of the best meals we have ever had! The hotel is warm and inviting, cozy nooks to enjoy a book and relax. Hot tub and patio on the roof gives you beautiful views of the area. A romantic place for our 33rd anniversary trip!

My family stayed for a few nights at the Rusty Parrott last August . The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we couldn t fault their service. The accomodation was however disappointing for the prices we were paying . We had "first floor" rooms which were in fact down a half flight of stairs below the Reception area and in fact were at the same level as the rear car park . When we looked out of our bedroom window we could see the the vehicles parked outside not that far away from the window.. The rooms were ok and the bathroom a little dated. The ceiling seemed low but it could have been our imagination as we kept thinking about the fact we were situated below the ground floor of the hotel. This is boutique accomodation but the facilities were still very limited . There is a small sitting area upstairs and an outside seating area plus a tiny bar next to the reception. We didn t use the restaurant but we believe it is pretty good. The price we paid was about the same price as we paid for two top 5 star hotels in Chicago and Miami so we were quite disappointed. The staff arranged an excellent itinary for our stay and the concierge service was faultless. The staff were also very accomodating and allowed us too check out a couple of nights early .Its a shame the rooms were disappointing as the staff service was great. If you book into this lodge we would suggest you book the "upper floors" only which are above the reception area. A general word of advice as well....Huge crowds visit jackson and the surrounding areas in the peak season June/July/August and with limited accomodation all prices are sky high which may have affected our expectations. Our suggestion would be to go in May or late September when I believe prices are lower.

Room Tip: Choose "upper floor" rooms.
