My research indicated this was the “best” restaurant in town. After eating there, I agree. We were staying in Cody on the way to Yellowstone NP. The Local is totally committed to local, organic produce and quality meats. Quiet and casual setting with space in-between tables, this is the place to go to relax, have a great meal and be able to visit with your friends. The roasted beets, grapes and potato chips was a colorful and fun way to start the meal. The fish tacos were cooked perfectly and served with a fresh slaw and tangy dressing. The special of the night was a lamb porterhouse with fresh vegetables. The wine list was impressive, with some really good and affordable by the glass selections. A real find and well done by the owners, chef and staff. Get a reservation – Go.
