I have never been to Centennial, WY before but really enjoyed this little town, the skiing, and especially Old Corral Hotel. We heard about it through a friend and went up with friends and family.
We felt very much at home and enjoyed the comfortable rooms and the awesome "John Wayne Theatre Room" as well as playing billiards in the billiard room. The Old Corral Steakhouse had wonderful food and the waitstaff was fantastic! Looking forward to going again.

The service was excellent.
The staff was very understanding and accommodating when I messed up and left for the day without moving to another room like we were supposed to for our last day.
The room did not seem insulated very well between rooms. We could hear the people in the adjacent room talking very clearly, and snoring at night. This was a real turn off that could affect my decision to stay again. The food at the restaurant was excellent, but i did not understand why the reservation times were so critical, when there were only a few tables occupied.
Overall everything was good.

I made my reservation over the phone and arrived early in the week when the restaurant was closed, so I never actually saw any of the staff. Weird. My key was left in an envelope for me by the main door. The front of the building is very rustic and interesting, the rooms have more of a Motel 6 feel. This place is just down the road from Medicine Bow National Forest, spectacular, don't miss it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Old Corral. The staff is very friendly & helpful and the treat you kind of like family. If you're looking for a ritzy pampering hotel, this is not for you. But you are made very welcome & at home. Anything you need they take care of you. They are very informative on the area & all it has to offer. The rooms are very beautiful & roomy without a lot of extra frilly stuff. They are also very clean with good water pressure for nice hot showers. The amenities are great too, the billiard room is fun, as is the John Wayne theater where you have access to hundreds of movies you can watch on a giant flat screen tv, while relaxing on big comfy couches. Overall this a great place to stay. Oh, one more thing. The restaurant in the hotel has a totally amazing chef, not sure how he does it but everything he prepares is to die for!!! The only slight downfall it has is that the rooms aren't very soundproof.

Room Tip: All rooms are good.
