Check in was a breeze, the rooms were spacious, the facility was clean (with the exception of the spa in the private cabana we rented @ the indoor waterpark) and the staff was excellent. I had one issue where a training opportunity arose regarding the customer service level at the amusement park. It was resolved once I asked for a manager even before the you lady called a manager. As this was the Friday of Thanksgiving weekend I am sure she was a bit stressed so I do not consider this unacceptable, just a learning opportunity as i stated above.
I have to a call out Gunnar, our attendant at the waterpark cabana, he was friendly, attentive and it was obvious he cared about the guests above and beyond what most do.
We stayed in the combo suite @ the Sands building, the cleaning staff did an excellent job keeping up with our rooms and should be commended. The front desk/store staff was excellent.
Expect to pay resort prices for food and drink, rates are rather reasonable and worth the price.More
