This is the most enchanting and charming B&B!! The location and grounds were so beautiful, with lots of hidden treasures to explore, that they pulled you from the outside world into its own life. Our room was perfect and very comfortable. We were able to enjoy the outside water garden from our screened in porch, while listening to the evening sounds of chipmunks, tree frogs, birds and the Crystal River. So Peaceful! Deb and Rob are wonderful people who were the most exceptional hosts. Breakfast was delicious and homemade with local ingredients. Our last day we needed to get an early start and couldn't stay for breakfast. They put together a lovely "to-go" breakfast bag for us to eat and enjoy on the way home. Our ONLY regret... we couldn't stay longer. This is a must see to believe B&B!!

We enjoyed having you stay with us! We are so fortunate to have such a life whereby we get to meet such wonderful people who travel here for family gatherings - mostly happy like weddings in such an idyllic spot. We'd love to see you again.

Welcoming hosts with a charming, tranquil grand farm house. The beds were very comfortable and rooms tastefully decorated. We enjoyed listening to the ripples of the Crystal River from the screened porch and gabezo. The double whirlpools were a treat after biking the shaded rural roads. We hope to be back in the near future.

We loved having your family here - one of the really great things about living in a beautiful natural area is seeing others' delight in exploring the Rural and Waupaca area. Of course we appreciate your appreciation of Crystal River Inn also!

Deb and Robert have a beautiful house and they were very flexible when we arrived at 6:30 rather than 6 o'clock due to traffic and getting out of work. My boyfriend and I rented the wood room and it was just perfect for what we were hoping for for the weekend. We walked in and the queen bed was very nice as well as the fireplace and the in room whirlpool. This room has its own entrance and and bathroom. Breakfast each day included homemade blueberry yogurt, coffee, orange juice, and an entrée made from local ingredients. The first day we had double stuffed French toast that Robert had made in the kitchen just minutes prior and it was delicious topped with the blueberry compote. Second day we had an egg bake that consisted of cheese and herbs and broccoli. My boyfriend and I were able to eat on a patio the second day just him and I facing the Crystal River and it was quite beautiful and Serene. There are a lot of things to do in Waupaca that are within nature and on water. If you aren't into hiking or kayaking or canoeing, there are the Chain of Lakes that people can rent boats to travel on the water. If that doesn't strike your fancy, you can always sit and read outside of the bed and breakfast because it is a quiet atmosphere in the middle of the country. BEAUTIFUL!

Great you two came when you did with all the flowers blooming and warm weather. Actually any time of the year is a good time to visit. With distinctively four seasons we enjoy them all and you can too! We'd be happy to see you again.

6th year we have celebrated our Wedding Anniversary here. Each year Deb & Robert have gone out of their way to make it special. Breakfast served on our screened in porch, while listening to the river.

Room Tip: Our favorite in the Canopy Room - complete with private porch - whirlpool tub - in-wall fireplace

Several branches of our family gathered here to attend our daughter's senior recital at Lawrence University in Appleton about 40 miles away. What a lovely spot! Instead of being lined up along a motel corridor the "cousins and friends" took over the Little House on the Prairie lodging while the adult couples each had a room in the main house. We sang around a campfire, enjoyed fresh asparagus with our breakfast frittata and altogether enjoyed ourselves. Deb and Robert were gracious and welcoming and we had a really wonderful time.

How we love to hear stories like this about family gatherings. This is one of the main reasons why we do what we do! Thank you for bringing your loved ones here and making the most of your time together. Congratulations on your daughter's success and we wish her well on the next part of her life journey.
