We were in town and asked a local shopkeeper where we could get a good lunch. (Note to travelers: Always ask the locals for suggestions even when using TripAdvisor.) He pointed us to The Wooden Chair, saying it had a fun vibe...not the cheapest place in town but not the most expensive either. He was correct. Portions were ample, service was friendly, and we shared the dining room with lots of other guests—on a weekday in a city filled with restaurants, that’s a sure sign of a good place to eat. We’d return.
