My last review of this Quality Inn was in 2011 and I didn't have very much good to say about it. The rooms were very outdated, worn, not very clean and they smelled stale and like old cigarettes. I vowed to stay next door at AmericInn for future visits.
We were here for a wedding and they had blocked rooms at the Quality Inn so we decided to just stay where most of the wedding guests were. Despite a somewhat argumentative, unfriendly front desk person when we checked in, I was pleasantly surprised. (The staff for the remainder of our visit were incredibly friendly and helpful)
The rooms have been updated and have new carpet. The furniture looked fairly new and the bathroom was spotless. There was a little bit of musty smell in the room when we arrived but it dissipated fairly quickly. The television and wifi worked really well and the beds were comfortable.
It's certainly not a luxury motel but it was clean, fresh and updated - and the price is certainly reasonable. I won't hesitate to stay here again when we return to Rhinelander.More
