Nice laid back atmosphere, food was out of sight. The chefs really cook up some great dishes. And the drinks are good to go along with your meal

Received a recommendation for this restaurant from a local. So good!! Gumbo, fried green tomatoes, smoky pulled pork - everything was delicious!
Rrasonable prices and excellent service, as well.

What a pleasure - fresh and local ingredients, excellently prepared and beautifully presented. The menu changes daily, with today's date printed on the top - this allows the chefs to be creative with local produce. What a pleasure to graze among familiar dishes with a local and very creative twist - the fried green tomatoes with remoulade and local corn were amazing. As was the beet salad. St Christian's Bistro you will encounter cuisine as opposed to food. Most dishes are suitable for sharing.

Went in for lunch and were very few tables occupied. Ordered soup and salads. Took 30 minutws for order to come. Food was very good. Waited for check while waitress folded napkins and socialized .

We came for lunch. I had the shrimp Po'boy, and my wife had a salad with grilled chicken. We both had iced tea.

My Po'boy was done better than any I've had outside of N.O. Large fresh shrimp lightly battered and fried on a nice soft hoagie type roll with mayo and chopped tomato. The fries were crispy and done just right.

My wife's salad was fresh, well proportioned, and presented with the grilled chicken sliced and served on top.

The iced tea was unusual. Not bad, just different. To me it seemed a strong heavy brew. My wife liked it more than I did.

The service was very good and friendly.

The downside was the noise. It appears that every surface in the place is hard, and reflects sound rather than absorbing it. There were very few tables filled but but the noise from the open kitchen combined with conversations made talking difficult.

The room is attractive and the furnishings high quality.

It appeared to me that they are going for a young clientele that likes good food and doesn't care about conversation.
