We've stayed here a number of times and, overall, are pleased with the accommodations.
First the Good in the room: The room we stayed in was 112. They have totally refurbished the bathroom with a walk-in shower and modern sink area. The shower was great. The sink area used a lot of space for the sink and left little room to the sides to put things. A new item was a towel hook right next to the shower. No more reaching around for the folded towel. You could just open the door a little and grab it. Great.
There were also multiple places to recharge phones, ipods, ipads, etc. Really a big improvement than trying to find the electrical outlet behind the TV.
Really good improvements.
Now the Bad: It had nothing to do with the room but with the breakfast. I know they rotate foods every day but what they called "ham" was overly salty, hard to chew, overdone and had little "ham" taste. If you show up on this day, go somewhere else to eat. The "scrambled" eggs were ok but not great. There were two bananas on the fruit bowl but both had really bad soft spots. Usually I look forward to their sausage patties or the bacon.
Now the change: Someone sold Carlson this great idea that if you use multiple pillows it will be better. Not true. They need to get some firmer pillows. It was really difficult sleeping. The covers really didn't get high enough to cover with. The mattress was not overly comfortable. So, have someone in corporate stay in one of these rooms and then vet their homes to see if this is the way they sleep. Where's the Undercover Boss?
