“Worth a visit to Franklin”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2011

We arrived in time to beat the crowd because this place gets filled fast. My husband liked the reuben soup and he's not normally a soup eater. I had the french onion and really liked it. It was not as salty as this soup usually is and that's what I liked about it..
Main entrees were the 2 4-ounce medallions with potato and veggies. Very delicious. The other entree was bangers and mash. It wasn't as spicy as my husband liked but still delicious. The only bummer was our dessert. It was the apple pie ala mode which the pie is usually served warm and this one wasn't. It was still a good flavor with the apples nice and soft. Our server was surprised it was cold, she said she would mention it to the kitchen staff.
That did not deter from the great atmosphere and service we had.

“Good food at an affordable price and a local favorite.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2010

This restaurant was filled with locals and the food was worth the short wait for a Friday night fish fry. Everything tasted fresh and service was friendly and fast. As advertised, this is a traditional Irish pub with all the expected menu items of a traditional pub with a few extra options. All the servers and hostess staff seemed fully experienced. We tried the Haddock fish fry, Cheesburger, and Mashed Potatoes. All 3 were worthy of a return trip.

“Not your average irish pub”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2010

Tried it once and now im hooked. This is a fun friendly clean place that has excellent food. I was there on a friday and i had the chefs grilled fish special. it was seared jumbo Diver sea scallops served with organic purple mashed potatoes and carmelized brussel sprouts. Wow was it fantastic. My wife had the breaded Walleye which was also out of this world. I highly reccomend Mulligans to anyone in search of spectacular food at very reasonable prices. There is nothing else like it on this side of town. They also have two happy hours from 2-6 and 10-midnight, featuring 1/2 price apps and great beer specials. Mulligans is definitely not your average irish pub.

“Great Fish Fry -Downtown Presentation - Family Pricing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 December 2009

Actually had sword fish. It was great - A friday special. I talked to some regulars and they said they have something different on special all the time and it was usually very good. Not what we were expecting from an Irish pub. (They also had all the traditional Irsh stuff on the food and waht we saw on plates on other tables looked very good. ) The people were friendly and the drinks were good.

“Mulligans”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2009

We've gone here twice, once for dinner and once for appetizers. For appetizers we ordered the cheese dip. It was ok, but really just melted cheese and vegetables, not quite worth the price. For dinner I had the reuban and my husband had the fish fry. The fish fry was very good, the reuban was fine but I've had better. We really like the beer selection. The atmosphere in the bar is great, but the dining room feels like being a in a dive bar. We will only eat in the bar section from now on. We'll probably go back.
