“Good cheap food in an old diner”
Review of Scottie's Eat-Mor

Cheap prices and big portions made right in front of you. The pancakes are platter sized with chocolate chips or blueberries. The burgers and fries are a big order that you can't finish. There's only 15 stools at the counter, so be prepared to wait on busy days. There's always good conversation and lots of laughter. We've only eaten here 3 times and we already feel like we are regulars.

You don't find a lot of places like the Eat-Mor. About 15 counter seats, no tables. A congenial crowd waits out on the sidewalk with the other "Poets" until seats open up. Randy cooks wight in front of his patrons. Don't go if you are in a hurry or if you are not hungry! Be prepared to take food home. I have had breakfast and a half-pound bacon. Both were excellent. Lots of old artifacts to enjoy while you are waiting. We will visit again. Oh, and shirts are ordered. The were sold out yesterday.

Doesn't get more Wisconsin real than this. Basic, good value, and very real. An authentic American diner for breakfasts - the silent chef putting on a masterclass in multitasking and the surly waitress with the heart of gold - together putting on some outstanding breakfasts. The 'large' pancake is bigger than a human head and is fantastic. Make the effort to drop in - you won't regret it.

Good food and decent portions
Scottie and his sister Jackie the waitress are friendly.
It's definitely old school diner!
There were 4 of us and it took about 45 minutes for our fresh food to be prepared. So don't come if you're on a tight schedule. Do come to travel back in time ;)

We live about 40 minutes from Scotties but go here for breakfast whenever we can. Everything is delicious so I am told because I only order the three meat skillet, it is so good and has so much to eat that I almost never order anything else. There are only 13 stools at the counter so we time our visits about 8:30 and we usually get a seat. If there is no seating people will wait outside or stand until a seat opens up.
