Wine, Cheese, OctoberFest, Great restaurants. Evening reception was very nice. Morning breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Everything you could want, made fresh on site. Step back in time, great room.

Their attention to detail was off the charts - from the luxurious towels for the steam shower to the freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast, everything was first rate. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back next Fall.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a steam shower

Stayed in the Schroeder - Juerger room. On the down side, the phone in the room did not work and the WiFi connection was unsecured and we were missing the remote to play our wedding video so the front desk had to stop by. On the positive end, the breakfast was fantastic and the room was beautiful. The sheets were so comfortable we wound up buying a set for our home. The staff were very accommodating and helpful especially as my husband does not eat meat and must abstain from gluten products.

Room Tip: get a room facing the main street for the most scenic view

We hadn't been back to this B&B inn for years -- it was an old favorite while we were raising our daughter -- and we were pleasantly surprised to discover it has only gotten better with age. We were greeted warmly and asked about any special needs. I'm allergic to feathers and all our pillows were made of comfy foam. Our room was charming, with stone walls and a poster bed. The real surprise was a Casper-type foam mattress -- firm profile and yet soft enough for a reallygood sleep. The breakfast was continental style, with fresh fruits and freshly squeezed juices, really nice. My only warning would be to anyone who cares about wine -- the wine and cheese social features local Door Creek Winery wines. Way too sweet for me, but most of the other guests really seemed to love it. This is a truly inviting place to reconnect with a partner and have a relaxing time.
