This restaurant has been open just a few days following a long closure due to a major flood that devastated the area. We ate there for the first time and, it's an interesting concept. They don't really have a sit down menu and food is mostly on buffet. The food was ok, but not fantastic as, for the price, should have been. Our female server was excellent. But, in order for us to return....they MUST have additional items on the salad bar (which was very limited). We wish this restaurant success!!

We came here for fathers day dinner. First it took 5 min or more to get seated. We were a little irritated. Afterwards we waited 10 minutes or more and still no one had even came to get a drink order. Max of 5 tables in the place had people seated. We left. So no food review but the service is awful so thats it for me here. We wont be back.

we were excited to try this new steakhouse...we went for lunch and were disappointed the carved meats were only offered after 5pm...we got over it and ordered 2 sandwiches...we skipped the skimpy buffet...nothing looked fresh, there were no meats and the few offerings didn't warrant a $10.00 plus charge...actually, it barely equated to a buffet...we were given very tasty native brazilian cheese/popover/muffin like bread while we waited for our sandwiches...then they came...burger was cooked well, large and had good flavor...but then my husband dug into his beef tip sandwich and the meat was RAW!...yes, RAW!...our waitress offered to replace it...sooo yeah, no thanks...your not getting a 2nd chance to feed us bloody steak!...we asked it be removed from the bill and she complied...she did offer a free dessert but we kindly declined...the owner/manager was there...we were absolutely shocked he didn't visit our table, apologize or even acknowledge our gross sandwich...ironically, there were only 3 tables that were seated and ALL of us complained of the rawness of meat in some form or fashion...so in summary, if you like it rare, raw and mooing, then go for it...this is the place for you...the saying there's not a second chance to make a first impression is applicable for us, as we will not be returning...

When we visited, we were quickly greeted at the door and seated in a nice table and offered drinks. The menu is very simple. You can order a steak to be prepared for you, you can get a buffet meal off of the bar, or you can get the bar with the unlimited meat option that they call the churrasco. We went for the everything option since it was our first visit. The meal started with some little cheese puffs that we all liked.

You start by going to the bar which has a variety of salad and vegetable choices, some hot and some cold. There is a variety of options and we tried a small bit of each of them that was available. The bar was a mixed bag with some of the offerings being very good and some of them needing to be upgraded or refilled. It would have been nice to have some signs telling you what some of the offerings were. All in all, the bar is OK but it could use some more offerings and a person whose sole purpose is to maintain it. Also, since this is a Brazilian steakhouse, it would be nice to have some dishes that are identified as being Brazilian.

The main part of the meal was the unlimited steak option. If you order this, you are given a little card with green on one side and red on the other. If green is up, the server is to stop by your table to offer you some of the meat they have. The servers cut the meat off of the skewer they carry at your table then move on. Each time a server appears, they have a different kind of meat--picanha, top sirloin, tri-tip, Mongolian beef, spicy chicken, lamb, and others. We found these to range from very good (the picanha) to not as good (the top sirloin) to strange (Polish sausage?). The ones with flavorings such as garlic or BBQ sauce were liked by some and not as much by others but were fine for a tasting menu. One thing we found about cooking is that when meat is cooked on a skewer, it is hard to get anything beyond rare, medium and well-done so expect one of those rather than medium-rare or medium-well.

So is there a hidden gem here? Yes. While they didn't push them and they aren't listed on the menu, don't skip the deserts. The passion-fruit mousse was different, light and had a grapefruit like flavor. Loved it. The mango mousse was similar. There is a chocolate cake and a caramel cheesecake that were great. They need to highlight these. Note to the management: consider getting something so you can serve a small taste of several of these at once as a mini-desert sampler to the guest.

I had read a number of poor reviews before I visited and I was not sure what to expect. What I found was a new restaurant that is promising but needs to work on the hot-cold bar and continue server training. All-in-all we had a good time and will plan to come back in the future when we hope to see continued improvements.
