Each steak is hand cut to order, seasoned with kosher salt and tri color peppercorns, then broiled at 1600 degrees to create a thin charred crust that seals in the delicious natural beef juices.

As my previous reviews indicate, we are local and come here about once a year. This time it was for my wife's birthday. We almost decided to go to another one of our favorites (9 Dragons), but I really wanted a steak. This is the first time that all came together for outstanding service from the server, perfectly cooked food, tasty food, and great timing of courses.

First we had to have the seafood app to see if it again included the jumbo lump crabmeat and it did indeed. One could certainly make a meal of this approx. $70 dish of chilled seafood which includes shrimp, clams, oysters, lobster, scallops and the handfull of lump crab. Very good and very tasty. Well worth it if it includes the crab (it didn't in one previous visit). You should ask to make sure. Then, two of us shared the $90 Porterhouse cooked a perfect rare and nicely sliced off of the bone for us. My wife had the salmon that was cooked just as ordered and we shared the truffled mac and cheese. And, they treated her to a desert. This review will not address whether or not the bill was cheap......just the fact that it was perfect this time.

A ton of food and all tasty and served with a friendly, yet efficient server. As we have a shortage of restaurants in town, we come to the track to eat. We enjoy the various restaurants.

Steaks are great here. Seared at 1600 degrees and cooked to perfection. Garlic mashed potatoes are delicious. Other sides are somewhat blah. Had potato leek soup and it was just okay. Was really heavy and no pieces of potato in it. Must have been blended to death.

Drinks menu is on an iPad type gizmo which provides only mixed drinks and not what's available for the basics like what type bourbons, gin, vodka, etc. Cannot compare any two wines or beers or basics at same time. Give me the old fashioned paper drink menu.

Wait staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Silver is very heavy as is glassware. Difficult to place a utensil on the edge of a plate. Drink glasses and water glasses very heavy at bottom and a bit hard to grip.

We used comps points so meal was basically free. I wouldn't dine here if I had to use a credit card as prices are too hefty for what is provided.

The food will melt in your mouth. Have a very good wine list. Must try the scallops and mushrooms. For some people it it a little expensive average meal is about $50 believe me it is worth the money.

A very pricey restaurant for "Charlestown". The service was excellent. Marshall was very attentive with our party of 5. The total bill came to $443.00. The food was excellent, coooked to perfection. The entire menu is alacarte so be aware.

Things to know: everything on the menu (besides the bread) is a la carte. It's extremely expensive. The service was impeccable. Our waiter, George, was professional, yet warm & approachable. He explained the menu well & answered all of our questions. We split the ravioli as an appetizer. It was "caprese" flavored & was delicious. The brioche bread was served warm with whipped butter. I had the 8 oz filet & my husband ordered the ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. I upgraded & ordered the truffle butter (for $3.00 extra). My husband ordered the baked potato: yes, it's $8.00....however, it was large (we split it) & came with sour cream & butter. We ordered coffee for dessert, which is served in a french press.....nice touch. With the bottle of house wine, and including a tip, we dropped almost $200. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously, but will only return if celebrating something very special. This is definitely not a destination for a regular night out.
