I spent only just one night there, but this place is gorgeous, the bed is so comfortable and the smell of the bedclothes are brilliant. I slept like a baby. The entire house has a very cosy atmosphere with books, sofas and fireplace. Fran is an angel from Heaven, she looked after me very well and made a very delicious breakfast with her sister. I had such a great time there. I just really wish to come back that place, and highly recommend to everyone to visit Fran and receive her warm welcome!

Fran took great care of us for three nights. The views are truly better and more amazing than photos can convey. Our room was on the ground floor with its own ensuite and very comfortable. You are about 40 mins from Kenmare, but there is so much to see within a few minutes drive and of course walks if the weather cooperates. Castletownbere has a grocery and pharmacies if needed. Fran is very kind and even offered to do a load of laundry for a small fee so we wouldn't waste time in town. I'm considering their self-catering house down the road if I bring a bunch of my walking friends next time!

We spent one night here while walking the Beara Way and very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the wifi was excellent, but most importantly Fran was such a friendly and welcoming hostess. She served a dinner that was the best we had on the Beara, and had a good selection of beer and wine to offer as well. We'd gladly stay there again.

I stayed with Fran at Cappa House for the second time last month and it was such a lovely experience. It is such a peaceful and welcoming place to be, even with a toddler! Fran and her family couldn't have been nicer, the room was perfect, and the views are unparalleled. Also, her breakfasts and "light bites" for dinner were delicious. Fran feels like family now!

We had a wonderful weekend at Cappa House - lovely room with a great view, fantastic breakfast and great local advice. Had a nice walk on the beach after breakfast before heading off to the wedding we were there for.
It was our first trip to the Beara Peninsula and we will certainly be back! Could not recommend Cappa House more.
