We've probably eaten here 200 times- chef never cuts corners or lowers quality. It is clearly a labor of love. The fish selections are always excellent - tonight my husband had steelhead and I had cod (fish and chips). It's a great place for a steak, pot roast or pasta. Sides are creative and seasonal. We seldom order desserts, but they are to die for.
The location is weird- between a low cost motel and a tire store and around the corner from a truck stop. The booth upolstry is that 1970's synthetic that withstand nuclear armeggedon and remain unchanged. I hope someday that an angel swoops in and updates the interior.
Should chef ever move, we will follow her wherever that is. The wait staff is personable and they work very hard. Most are there for years.
Try it, and don't let the decor get in the way of enjoying some great food!
