Bf's mom ate here the other day and said they had Cuban theme.. so we decided to go. It was very quaint inside. All kinds of Local artists art on the wall for sale. In Oct it will be Parisian Theme. Haha guess mom will do a painting for that. She is very excited.
Now the food. We had the platter for two and it was good! We could have ate more tho... and mom had a salad that she loved too..
The place next door also owned by him too! It's good and more casual.

Thank Rene D

Stopped in for a pizza and beer. A favorite with the locals. May have a wait for a table on the weekend, but pizza is worth it.

I've been to Cook's Tavern several times. Twice for lunch and once for dinner. The food has been great every time. The pork chop on the dinner menu was cooked to perfection!

Cook's has daily specials that are always interesting and delicious. The place is casual but very clean and comfortable. A local treasure.

This is a fun little restaurant with cool art on the walls and cool people eating there. All our food was very good and our service was fine except for one thing. I didn't care for the lemonade (looked and tasted like ice water with a lemon slice) so asked if I could sub a coke My server still charged me for an extra drink, even though the coke cost less than the lemonade and they all came with free refills. We spent over $100 that afternoon. It seems petty for them to nickel-and-dime not subbing my watery lemonade for a coke.

For dessert we ordered the granny smith apple crisp with salted caramel and ice cream. This is big dessert, enough for two people. The other dessert was a frozen semifrito which was small but really delicious.

Altogether, it was a good experience but a higher level of customer service could have made it so much better.
