As I sit and write this review I don't think I can express how truly incredible this place is. From the first moment we pulled into the driveway we were greeted warmly by one of our two charming & wonderful hosts, and given the tour of this expertly decorated and well appointed barn house where it really felt like no detail was left to chance. An eclectic mixture of Asian and rural American influences come together to create a beautiful space, equally so in our room with mountain, bay and garden views. The whole time there my wife and I really didn't know where we wanted to relax and unwind first....the huge picture window overlooking the strait? The private access to the water? The expertly maintained and beautiful garden? This place had it all. Oh and throw on top of that a fantastic breakfast locally sourced and a cocktail hour in the evening. One night was NOT enough Advice? Go here. Book it. And stay at least three nights to take it all in. By far our new favorite B&B

Our stay at the Dungeness Barn B&B was pretty much perfect. The inn is a beautifully appointed building with attractive gardens and a gorgeous view of Dungeness Spit. We had the second floor "Garden View" room, which was very comfortable (plush bed, high quality linens and towels, etc.); when we stay at this inn again, we'll request the same room because we loved its access to the common room with its amazing views. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful; you won't go hungry here! And finally, Claire and Sue (the proprietors) were friendly and welcoming while also giving you peace and privacy if you wanted it. We'll definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stopped at the Dungeness Barn House B & B on our trip to the Oregon coast and the Olympic Peninsula on our way to Seattle. We decided to stop in Sequim before we headed into the city.

What an incredible spot with two caring ladies who's goal was to make us feel like we were part of the family! Everything, including the weather, was perfect! Clare welcomed us by showing us around the renovated barn as we ooh'd and ahh'd at all the adorable furnishings and decorations. Our room (Garden View) was beautiful and charming with plenty of room for the two of us. Our room was next to a living area upstairs that guests shared. This space included a coffee maker and a small refrigerator where we could put a few things from our cooler. We were encouraged to explore their private beach and when we returned we enjoyed refreshments outside in the beautiful blooming garden before heading off to dinner in town.

Breakfast was substantial and more than satisfying. They accommodated my gluten-free diet while making a traditional breakfast for my husband. I bought some of their granola and Clare packed up the remainder of the gf muffins for me to take with us. Too sweet!

It was wonderful to sit and chat with both Su and Clare. You can tell these inspiring women are living their dream by the love and care they give to their guests.

The only thing we wished for was another night to enjoy more of what Sequim has to offer...and more of the hospitality of our kind caretakers of the Dungeness Barn House B&B. Thank you Clare and Su....we can't thank you enough and hope to come again soon. Kathy and Mark

Thank you for this amazing review.
We enjoyed having you and wish you could have stayed longer as well.
We hope you can make it back some time soon. There is so much to do and enjoy in Sequim. Our baby chicks will be moving to their amazing coop and the garden with be bursting with fresh organic produce by the end of May.
Even if you can not stay please drop by when you are in Sequim.

Not having a lot of experience with B&B’s, we weren’t sure what to expect when we booked a stay at the Dungeness Barn House Bed and Breakfast. The photos looked lovely, and it was close to the family we were going to visit in the area. We arrived on a blustery day, and were greeted warmly by Clare & Sue. The barn building is fantastic, and there is a painstaking attention to detail evident in very corner.

Our room was cozy, spacious and quiet (we stayed upstairs; never once heard the downstairs guests). The great room overlooking the water was perfect for relaxing. The bed was the best I’ve ever slept in, and each morning the breakfasts offered were a feast. We had to take some of their house-made granola back with us! This will definitely be our spot for future visits to the area.

Room Tip: The upstairs suite has the best view of the water and the gardens in the rear.
