My husband and I stopped at the Dungeness Barn House B & B on our trip to the Oregon coast and the Olympic Peninsula on our way to Seattle. We decided to stop in Sequim before we headed into the city.
What an incredible spot with two caring ladies who's goal was to make us feel like we were part of the family! Everything, including the weather, was perfect! Clare welcomed us by showing us around the renovated barn as we ooh'd and ahh'd at all the adorable furnishings and decorations. Our room (Garden View) was beautiful and charming with plenty of room for the two of us. Our room was next to a living area upstairs that guests shared. This space included a coffee maker and a small refrigerator where we could put a few things from our cooler. We were encouraged to explore their private beach and when we returned we enjoyed refreshments outside in the beautiful blooming garden before heading off to dinner in town.
Breakfast was substantial and more than satisfying. They accommodated my gluten-free diet while making a traditional breakfast for my husband. I bought some of their granola and Clare packed up the remainder of the gf muffins for me to take with us. Too sweet!
It was wonderful to sit and chat with both Su and Clare. You can tell these inspiring women are living their dream by the love and care they give to their guests.
The only thing we wished for was another night to enjoy more of what Sequim has to offer...and more of the hospitality of our kind caretakers of the Dungeness Barn House B&B. Thank you Clare and Su....we can't thank you enough and hope to come again soon. Kathy and Mark
